SDL Component Suite - RasterLab
The unit RASTERLAB contains the Delphi / C++ Builder visual component TRasterLab which supports dot matrix displays for arbitrary texts. TRasterLab has been designed to provide a flicker-free display of a dot-matrix style text label, which is especially important in applications where some value has to be updated regularly (such as in process monitoring systems).

The parameters of the dot matrix (colors, size and distance of dots) may be adjusted within a wide range. The characters used for the display may be taken from standard Windows™ fonts or can be created by the user. Thus you are free to display any character which fits into a 32x32 matrix. In addition, TRasterLab provides the capability to automatically scroll the dot-matrix display. For more details please visit the online help pages.

The unit RASTERLAB is part of the GuiPack.

RasterLab Shows the capabilities of the unit RASTERLAB. You can adjust most of the properties of the dot matrix display. This program can be used to experiment with the dot matrix display before implementing a concrete layout in your own application. rasterlabel.zip
