Installing the SDL Component Suite Help |
1. Click on the command Help/Customize in the Delphi/BCB IDE 2. Open the Delphi/BCB Openhelp project *.OHP, which is located in the help directory of your Delphi/BCB installation. You have to open the project in any case, even if it seems to be already open. If you do not explicitly open the project file, the installation of the context sensitive help won't work (due to a bug in the Openhelp tool). 3. Add the file sdlsuite.cnt to the contents (the default extension in this dialog is *.toc - switch to *.cnt in order to select the file). 4. Add the file sdlsuite.hlp to the index and link section. 5. Add the file sdlsuite.cnt to the project section. 6. Save the Openhelp project (command File/Save Project). 7. Close Openhelp
Alternatively, you can install the help file into the tools section of the IDE.
1. Click on "Configure Tools..." in the submenu The help of the SDL Component Suite should now be available from the "Tools" menu of the IDE. Note: Make sure that the PATH environment variable includes the directory where the help file is stored. Otherwise the Windows help system will not find the new help file. Alternatively, you can copy the help file to the Windows directory.
